These books are finalists for the 24rd Annual Lambda Literary Awards [From their site] The Lambda Literary Awards seek to recognize excellence in the field of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender literature. Each year, over 80 judges — writers, booksellers, librarians, journalists — assess the entries in more than 20 categories. These finalists represent books published in 2011. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on June 4, 2012.
