Intermission: What Happened???
Feb 16th
I’m broke and had to cut off high speed cable to save myself money so no more free fast internet service, for a least a while. I thought the better decision was to not post until I could pay again but I changed my mind and so I will hopefully update when I can. I still have those now old reviews of movies I’ve yet to post but in the meantime done something else to get off DT the internet, something I didn’t think I would be interested in: romance erotica. I’ll probably write about them as well.

Intermission: Bisexual/Polygamous Movies List
Sep 14th
If interested to people in who visit here and I do see people are actually visiting if not commenting. There is a link on top for a list of Bisexual/Polyamory Movies that I put together a while ago and occasionally update if I find movies that possible could be bi or poly in nature.
This was basically a big list of movies that I will eventually, some day get through all of them and make it pretty but I’ve recently added more possible movies and to finally not drive myself insane with such a massive html list, I have broken up the movies from what I have seen, given reviews and linked to its own page while the bigger list is on another where it just has the titles and sometimes no descriptions.
(The new and original list can be found at the top of the page -in the drop down links-.)
I’ll try to get through a chunk of them before the year is over but right now whether the stories treat Bi/Poly people in a good or bad light is unknown to me but at least I will keep adding to the list if I hear of any more and if you are brave, go to me sidebar where it says recommend a movie and do so. You could see from the sidebar the movies that are coming up in the reviews, I am pretty sure Shortbus is next. Maybe.

Intermission: Sorry Delay. Being a fan.
May 22nd
Sorry about the delay, I wanted to add another five reviews to the site but I have been geeking on Star Trek and I have been lax in a lot of online stuff. Hopefully I will get my act together and start posting again but I fear it may be a while…
In the meantime check the sidebar in what upcoming movies I hope to be posting here.

Hey! I am making a post because I’m probably missing some movies with Bi and/or Poly themes. So I am putting it out that if you know one I could get my hands on to watch, let me know.

Intermission: Action Movies
Apr 12th
I decided to have a action movie weekend, I haven’t decided to give my full opinions on them but if your interested in what I have seen so far, I rated 1-5:
A History of Violence:
Tom Stall (Viggo Mortensen) is living a happy and quiet life with his lawyer wife (Maria Bello) and their two children in the small town of Millbrook, Indiana. One night, though, their idyllic existence is shattered when Tom foils a vicious attempted robbery in his diner. He takes action and saves his customers and friends in the self-defense killings of two-sought-after criminals. Heralded as a hero, Tom’s life is changed overnight, attracting a national media circus, which forces him into the spotlight. Uncomfortable with his newfound celebrity, Tom tries to return to the normalcy of his ordinary life only to be confronted by a mysterious and threatening man (Ed Harris) who arrives in town believing Tom is the man who’s wronged him in the past.

Intermission: News
Apr 3rd
I try to extend my web skills to find out more media to add to the site and instead I find newsworthy pieces.
First Up:
Poly Web Series “Family” that is shown on Youtube and at NorthWest Live and which I sometime post here as an embedded post. Well it seems that one of the actors, Ernie Joseph who plays Ben on the show was fired from a possibly lucrative deal for an Australian olive oil company OliVaylle, maybe to become the face of their line of products because he acted as a polyamory man in a web series…

Yeah, I am scratching my head about that too.
Next:
Chance Nalley, a teacher at Columbia Secondary School invited his students to his commitment ceremony. A good portion is planning to go and it was sweet because it was something that should be taken as “normal” but I love this part:
He is expecting about two-thirds of the school’s 96 seventh graders at the ceremony, on April 4 at St. Paul’s Chapel on Columbia University’s campus (he had to hire an extra security guard because so many children were coming). Four seventh graders, approached at random on Friday, said they planned to be there.
Were they surprised to learn he was gay?
“He’s not gay,” said Japhet Guzman, 12.
“No,” agreed a lanky 13-year-old who walked with a bit of a tough-guy swagger, “he’s not gay. He’s bisexual. Why don’t you ask him?” (Mr. Nalley confirmed this.)
It was too funny when the children know better the correct words than the adults. Sweet story.

Lastly:
Iowa is now the third state in the union to legalize gay marriage, while the wording “gay marriage” that either the media or population use I think a bit wrongly is still a good thing.
