Intermission: Sorry Delay. Being a fan.

Sorry about the delay, I wanted to add another five reviews to the site but I have been geeking on Star Trek and I have been lax in a lot of online stuff. Hopefully I will get my act together and start posting again but I fear it may be a while…

In the meantime check the sidebar in what upcoming movies I hope to be posting here.

MTrailer: New Longer G.I. Joe Trailer

Now when I heard they were planning on a live action G.I. Joe movie, I was like, “please don’t fuck up my childhood” several times as you very well know by now that Hollywood has officially run out of ideas and then I saw that Marlon Wayans was in it, I was like, “they are not serious???” but the first trailer shot trailer that we were introduced to at the SuperBowl has been expanded and it was like, “Oh my god, it looks good, I’m going to see this when it opens… Oh yeah Marlon Wayans isn’t looking like a dick.” but I haven’t seen the movie yet. :)

So crossing fingers, let’s hear your take on it.

And I think they are right, any villains needed, called upon the British.

Books for Summer

I figure that since summer coming and I said I will be adding books to the site. I’ve collected a number into a list and I’m adding five more:

These books are finalists for the 21st Annual Lambda Literary Awards

[From their site] The Lambda Literary Awards seek to recognize excellence in the field of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender literature. Each year, over 80 judges — writers, booksellers, librarians, journalists — assess the entries in more than 20 categories.

This year, 105 finalists representing 72 publishers are competing for awards in 22 categories.

Winners will be announced on Thursday, May 28, at a gala awards ceremony in New York. For tickets and more information, go to Awards Ceremony.

These are the five finalists up for the bisexual category.

* Open: Love, Sex and Life in an Open Marriage by Jenny Block, Seal Press
* Sexual Fluidity: Understanding Women’s Love and Desire by Lisa M. Diamond, Harvard University Press
* The Bishop’s Daughter: A Memoir by Honor Moore, W.W. Norton
* Kinsey Zero Through Sixty: Bisexual Perspectives on Kinsey by Ron Jackson Suresha, Taylor & Francis Journals
